Most PhD scientists build their careers in industry.
But most of us have no idea how to get that first industry job!
Can you relate?
Our PhD advisors usually can’t help because they’ve only worked in academia.
The university career center often doesn’t help, because they focus on academic careers for PhDs.
Hosted by David Giltner, Ph.D.
The best person to help you is someone who has been an industry hiring manager!
That’s why I’m holding this interactive career session:

In this 90 minute session, get answers to these questions:
What strengths do I have that are valued in industry?
How do I find companies that I will love working for?
How do I win the online job search game?
If I apply to a job and don't hear anything, does that mean I'll never get a job with that company?
How do I describe my research to a hiring manager?
Do I really need industry experience to get an industry job?

WHO THIS IS FOR
This online career session is designed for MS and PhD level scientists of all disciplines looking for a job in industry.
A Note From David
How would it feel to finally put your education years behind you and start getting paid what you are worth?
I remember how amazing it felt to make that transition…to finally have a ‘real world’ job and get paid real money for my skills and expertise.
There is a lot that a scientist needs to know to make a smooth transition to industry - to interview well, to make a great impression that first week on the job, and to become a valued member of a high-caliber industry team.
I’ve been teaching this workshop at universities around the globe for 5 years now, and this is the most popular session I give. Participants love having the opportunity to ask me questions and discuss their plans and ideas with other people in the workshop about how to transition to industry.
I encourage you to invest in making an awesome transition into your first industry job by signing up for this career session.
I look forward to meeting you!
Regards,
Dave
